What Is This BuyBackTextbooks Site?
Basically we got fed up selling back our textbooks back at the local online bookstores which paid pennies on the dollar for them. These stores have little competition locally so they can screw over everyone easily. Then we started looking online and found you can get some good deals but it varied pretty widely based on the company. We thought there had to be a better way and came up with BuyBackTextbooks. With our site you can enter in an ISBN and get the buy back prices from the different online stores in seconds in order to make sure you're getting the most possible money back for your textbooks!

Do you guys actually buy back textbooks yourselves?
No actually we don't personally buy back any textbooks; we just run the price comparison engine that compares the prices. If you've used our site to sell back textbooks you'll need to contact the company you sold them to in order to get details and the status of your transaction.

Isn't mailing the textbooks somewhere going to cost me a lot of money?
The great part is about selling your textbooks back online is that almost all the buy back stores actually pay for the shipping! Once you decide to use them they'll send you a prepaid shipping label so all you have to do is throw your books in a box, tape the label to the box, and then sit back and wait for your money to come in. Isn't the internet awesome!

Do textbook buy back prices vary during the year?
Actually after running this site for awhile now we have noticed that buy back price fluctuate throughout the year especially on supply and demand. One thing you want to do is make sure if you have an older edition textbook is sell it off ASAP. The last thing you want to do is hold onto it because as soon as the demand for the newest edition raises, no one is going to buy that old version back from you.

Does your site compare prices on books that are no textbooks?
Definitely! If you have a huge stack of books laying around your house start popping in those ISBN #'s! You'll see that some of those books can be sold back as well. Usually textbooks get more money because they are more expensive, but if you've got some old books collecting dust it's better to get something than nothing back fro them.

I own or work for a buy back store, can we get listed in your results?
Sure we'd love to have you aboard! We do buy back comparisons for 10's of thousands of books a month and it would be mutually beneficial for our users and your store to be listed. Just contact us and we can see about adding you in.
